DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair project on I-155 over the Mississippi River
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-222: Monday March, 28, 9:00 a. m.-3:30 p. m.: A section of State Route 222 at log mile 4.1 near State Route 59 will be CLOSED for replacement of pipe. Detour route will be posted.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-89: Monday March, 21 through Friday, March 25: The westbound lanes will be CLOSED near Kenton from the Gibson/Obion County line to US 45 for placement of sewer line. Detour route will be posted.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57: There will be temporary lane closures at various locations on State Route 57 in Counce to bore multiple crossing in preparation of crossing signal installations

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140: Bridge Repair project on State Route 140 over Mill Creek at log mile 23.03 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 10’ lane restriction.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-21: Bridge Repair project on State Route 21 over Reelfoot Spillway at log mile 7.61 will cause possible lane closures throughout the project.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5: Monday, February 29 through Sunday, May 29, 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures northbound (right lane) and southbound (right lane) on State Route 5 near the railroad bridge at Three Way to build a gas line. Two lanes will remain open in both directions.

OBION COUNTY, SR-21: Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1: There will be a temporary lane closure with a 12’ width restriction for the installation of a new flashing school zone speed limit signs.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 repair of bridge over the Mississippi River Wednesday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 30: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 30: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 resurfacing from west of Sycamore View (L.M. 15.54) to west of Davies Plantation Road (LM-22.98)

Monday, March 28 through Thursday, March 31, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 eastbound will have nightly closures on the 2 inside lanes from west of Sycamore View log mile 15.54 to west of Davies Plantation (LM-22.98).

*Sunday, April 3 through Thursday, April 7 will serve as backup dates.

Sunday, April 3 through Wednesday, April 6, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 westbound will have nightly closures on the 2 outside lanes from west of Davies Plantation (LM-22.98) to west of Sycamore View log mile 15.54.

*Sunday, April 10 through Thursday, April 14 will serve as backup dates.

Thursday, April 7, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.: I-40 westbound will have nightly closures of the 2 inside lanes from west of Davies Plantation (LM-22.98) to west of Sycamore View log mile 15.54.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 westbound MM 2.2-2.4
Wednesday, March 23 & Thursday, March 24, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound between MM 2.2 and 2.4 for assessment of settlement damage and possible coring. Two lanes will be closed, at least one lane will remain open.

Wednesday, March 23 through Wednesday, March 30: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper

I-240 EB ramp has 1 lane open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Covington Pike is one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange.

     Monday Night, March 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures on westbound I-40, the westbound I-240 flyover (Exit 10A from I-40W), and westbound Sam Cooper Blvd. to allow for the relocation of westbound I-40, the westbound I-240 exit (Exit 10A from I-40W), and westbound Sam Cooper Blvd. traffic onto the new bridge over the Wolf River.

LOOK AHEAD:

     Wednesday Night, March 30, 10:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.

CLOSE the two right lanes of westbound I-40 from LM-11.0 extending to the Covington Pike exit (Exit 10) to allow for overhead sign construction activities.

Note: There will be two 15 minute total interstate closures by way of rolling roadblock while the overhead work is occurring.

*Thursday Night, March 31 will serve as backup date.

     Thursday Night, March 31, 10:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.

CLOSE the two right lanes of eastbound I-240 from the Covington Pike exit (Exit 10) extending to the White Station Rd. exit (Exit 12A) to allow for overhead sign construction activities.

Note: There will be two 15 minute total interstate closures by way of rolling roadblock while the overhead work is occurring.

     Saturday, April 2 – Beginning at 7:00 a.m. the Summer Avenue Exit (12A) from I-40 westbound will temporarily close for approximately 3-4 weeks while crews reconstruct the exit ramp.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day. Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Saturday, April 30, there will be a temporary signal utilized with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until June 2016.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Spraythermo

Monday, March 28 & Tuesday, March 29, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be temporary night time “rolling roadblocks“ at the following locations for the retracing of lane lines and pavement markings. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-186 (US-45BYP), Madison County, northbound & southbound from LM 0.00

(SR-1/Airways Blvd) to LM 3.24 (begin median wall south of I-40), at least one lane will remain open.

  • SR-186 (US-45BYP), Madison County, northbound & southbound from LM-4.55 (Channing Way) to LM 7.11 (Ashport Rd.) in Jackson, at least one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair

Monday, March 28 through Thursday, March 31, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. There will be 2 crews working. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Haywood County, eastbound & westbound (MM 43.30 to MM 67.00), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-186, Madison County, westbound Ramp from 45 Bypass to I-40 westbound (MM 3.80), at one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 67.19 to MM 95.14), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 95.14 to MM 119.78), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Decatur County, eastbound & westbound (MM 120.00 to MM 126.12), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 Installation of Emergency Reference Marker Signs
Monday, March 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be left lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at Approx. mile marker 29.0- mile marker 30.4 and mile marker 53.2-54.4 in Fayette and Haywood Counties in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs. A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction.

Tuesday, March 29, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be left lane closures on I- 40 Eastbound and Westbound at Approx. mile marker 110.8, mile marker 115.2- mile marker 119 in Henderson County and eastbound (only) at mile marker 133.0 In Benton County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs. A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction.

Wednesday, March 30, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be left lane closures on I-155 westbound from mile marker 3.0- mile marker 0.0 in Dyer County in order to install Emergency Reference Marker Signs. A minimum of one lane will remain open in each direction.

Thursday, March 31 and Friday, April 1 will be used as make-up days in the event of cancellation due to weather.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:

Wednesday, March 23 & Thursday, March 24, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

Monday, March 28 through Wednesday, March 30, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:

Wednesday, March 23 & Thursday, March 24, 9:00 a. m.-4:30 p. m: There will be temporary lane closures on I-240 northbound right lane mile marker 27.20 for repair of slope wash.

Saturday, April 2 & Sunday, April 3, 8:30 a. m.-5:30 p. m.: There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 westbound right lane mile marker 21.0-20.0 for repair of slope wash (approx. 11 washes along run of guardrail). All closures are Weather Permitting.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Thursday, March 24, through Thursday, March 31: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.
