DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair on I-155 over the Mississippi River
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

Wednesday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 17: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 17: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 5, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

Wednesday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 17: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.​
Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)
I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.
I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)
I-40 EB: 4 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge. (2 lanes I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper
I-240 EB ramp has 2 lanes open.
I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.
Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.
Beginning 1-11-16: Covington Pike will be one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange for approximately 2 months.

     Saturday, February 13 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures on I-40 eastbound beginning just west of and extending to the Covington Pike exit (Exit 10) to allow for grinding and restriping of I-40 eastbound. 

Note: Upon completion of this work, the right lane of I-40 eastbound will be CLOSED to allow for the placement of portable barrier rail along the existing shoulder.

*Sunday, February 14 and Saturday, February 20 will serve as backup dates. 

LOOK AHEAD:

     Saturday, February 27 from 6:00 a.m. to Sunday, February 28 at 6:00 p.m.

INTERMITTENT lane closures throughout the I-40/I-240 Interchange to allow for the relocation of eastbound I-40 traffic onto the new bridge over the Wolf River.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1/US-70: Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: There will be a temporary lane and shoulder closure eastbound over Wolf River at log mile 12.52 for asbestos collection.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25 will result in lane shifts every day.  Beginning Monday, February 22, 9:00 a. m. until Saturday, April 30, there will be a lane closure with a 11’ 6” width restriction at log mile 26.74.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until December 31, 2015.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72): Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair
Wednesday, February 10 through Thursday, February 18, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound, southbound & northbound (MM 2.0 to MM 24.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 1.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-385 Shelby County, northbound & southbound, eastbound & westbound (MM 94.0 to MM 119.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-3 (Hwy 51), Tipton County, northbound (MM 22.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 17, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, February 10 through Wednesday, February 17: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.
