CARROLL COUNTY -I-40 @ MM 120.0
Sunday, January 24, 7:00 a. m-7:05 a. m.: There will be a rolling road block on I-40 eastbound & westbound between MM 118 and 125 to cut and pull a line across the interstate. The interstate will be shut down for 5 minutes.

DYER COUNTY, I-155: Bridge Repair on I-155 over the Mississippi River​
Thursday, July 23, 2015 through Wednesday, August 31, 2016: There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-155 over the Mississippi River Bridge, for duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction with a 14’ 10.5” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222: A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-15 (US-64): A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-22: There will be temporary lane closures northbound on State Route 22 between mile marker 6.05 and 6.50 for guardrail repair.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-128: A widening project on State Route 128 from South of Opel Loop to US-64 (SR-15) in Savannah. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40:  Thursday January 21:  There will be an emergency lane closure eastbound left lane at mile marker 108-109 for removal of semi truck.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-218: Grading, drainage, construction of I-beam bridge and paving 2.6 miles on State Route 218 from State Route 69 northwest of Paris to US-641 (State Route 54). On Friday May 8, 2015, Iron Banks Road was closed to thru traffic until approximately October 31, 2016.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208: A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley. All routes are open but there will be possible temporary lane closures daily. Watch for flagmen.

OBION COUNTY, SR-22: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the State Route 22 connector to State Route 214.

SHELBY COUNTY -Annual Preventative and Unscheduled Maintenance of the Memphis I. T. S. System Equipment, including the TMC  Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.  There are lane shifts eastbound and westbound on I-40. Beginning December 05, 2014, there are transitions southbound and northbound on Canada Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 repair of bridge over the Mississippi River Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange. (Two left lanes are open)

I-240: There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange. One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: 3 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(1 lane Sam Cooper, 1 lane I-240W, 1 lane I-40W/new flyover)

I-40 EB: 4 lanes will remain open for bridge work over the Wolf River Bridge.

(2 lanes I-240E to I-40E, 1 lane I-40E (new flyover) 1 lane Sam Cooper

I-240 EB ramp has 2 lanes open.

I-240 EB to I-40 WB has the left lane closed.

Summer Ave. Exit:  The Summer Ave. exit from I-40 WB will remain closed until completion of Wolf River Bridge.  Motorist must exit off  I-40 WB at Exit 12 (Sycamore View) and follow detour to Summer Ave.

Beginning 1-11-16: Covington Pike will be one lane in each direction at the I-40 Interchange for approximately 2 months.

     Tuesday night, January 26 through Thursday night, January 28 from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

CLOSE the left shoulder and right lane of I-240 eastbound beginning north of Walnut Grove Road (LM-13.4) extending to north of the Summer Ave. exit (Exit 12A) for overhead sign construction activities.  Note: There will be three 15-minute total interstate closures after 10:00 p.m. while the overhead sign structures are being lifted into place.

LOOK AHEAD:

     Saturday, January 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

CLOSE the Covington Pike exit ramp (Exit 10) from westbound I-40 to allow for the placing of portable barrier rail along the existing shoulders to enable reconstruction activities along said ramp. Detour will be in place during closure

  • Sunday, January 31 will serve as backup date.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Kentucky Street to State Route 4. The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-4: Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-51 (State Route 3) to US-70 (State Route 1). The contractor is working on bike lane item.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy): Construction on State Route 14 for a widening project from State Route 204 (Singleton Parkway) to east of Old Covington Pike. Shoulders are closed north and southbound. April 27, 2015 through May 11, 2016, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a. m. there will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project. Speed limit has been reduced to 45 MPH. As of May 13, 2015, Egypt-Central Road and Momosa Road have been CLOSED to thru traffic until December 31, 2015.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14: Bridge Repair on State Route 14 over overflows log mile 26.28, 26.58 & 26.74, Loosahatchie River log mile 26.90 and overflow log mile 27.25. The contractor will continue working underneath the bridge but all lanes of traffic will be open Thursday, December 17, 2015.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. There will be possible temporary lane closures throughout the project to completed punch list items.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175: Grade, drain, and pave on State Route 175 (Byhalia Road) from south of Shelby Post Road to south of State Route 385 will cause possible lane closure.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair
 
Sunday, January 24 through Tuesday, January 26, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: There will be night time lane closures at the following various locations to repair damaged guardrail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 70.0 to MM 94.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 94.0 to MM 111.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Spraythermo  Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4 On-Call Pavement Repair  Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:  Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.

TIPTON and HAYWOOD COUNTIES, SR-54: Wednesday, January 20 through Wednesday, January 27: Bridge Repair on State Route 54 over Hatchie River at log mile 9.60. A signal system will be utilized. On July 6, 2015, State Route 54 over Hatchie River, traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 2” lane restriction. Eastbound lane is now closed to traffic for expansion joint repair and installation of steel reinforcements.
