BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through June 2016, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair at I-440/65 Interchange

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 8PM- 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 in both directions at MM 5 (I-65) for modular expansion joint repairs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Maintenance (multiple locations)

Thursday January 21 through Friday January 22, 8PM- 6AM, There will be a temporary outside lane and shoulder closure on I-24 Westbound at MM 212 (Fessler’s Lane) for installing a catwalk on the overhead DMS structure. Traffic will be affected in the outside lane and shoulder. Three lanes will remain open at all times.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Rehabilitation of I-40 Bridges at Charlotte Avenue, Johnson Street, Herman Street, & Clinton Avenue

Friday January 16, 8PM through Monday January 18, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at the Herman Street Bridge to allow for repair work on the joint bridge ends.

 

Monday January 18 through Wednesday January 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions for guardrail installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Slope Stabilization & Construction of a Graded Solid Rock Buttress on I-65 Northbound (MM 92)

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20 (Excluding Saturday), 9PM–5AM, There will be a lane closure at I-65 northbound from MM 91 (Chadwell Drive Bridge) to MM 92 (Old Hickory Boulevard exit) to allow for removal of the existing concrete wall and to place barrier wall. 

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-65 in both directions between MM 94 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd.) and MM 110 (SR 25) for proofing and wire pulling and CCTV foundations.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction. Additionally, Broadmoor Boulevard will be closed to through traffic until further notice in order to perform utility crossings.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 80 over Peyton Creek

From now through November 2016, SR 80 will be reduced to one lane at the bridges over Peyton Creek (LM 5.75 and LM 7.00) near Sawmill Lane for bridge repair work. Temporary traffic signals will be in place.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Repair on US 70N/SR 24 over Caney Fork River

From now through April 2016, The US 70N/SR 24 bridge over the Caney Fork River will be closed for construction. A signed detour is in place.

 

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek

From now through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Concord Road for construction operations. Traffic will be flagged as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

  • Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 35, for bridge conduit and pull box installation.
  • Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound at Exit 67 (McEwen) for conduit installation.
  • Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends) There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 southbound, from MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) to MM 56 (between Saturn Pkwy and SR 840), for conduit and pull box installation.
  • Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 58 (SR 840) for conduit installation on the SR 840 bridge over I-65.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in Spring Hill

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on US 31 (SR 6) at Miles Johnson Parkway in both directions for preparation of signal installation.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Thermoplastic Markings on I-65

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be a lane closures on I-65 at MM 71 (Concord Road) to install HOV saddle mounts on the median barrier walls.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Repair of the Bridges on SR 840 over Boston-Theta Road and Sycamore Creek

From now through August 31, 2016, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions on the bridges over Boston-Theta Rd (LM 13) to perform bridge repair operations.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 70 (SR 24) at North Greenhill Road in Mt. Juliet

Monday January 18 through Friday January 22, 9AM-3PM, Lane closures on US 70 (SR 24) in both directions at Blair Lane for signal installation work.

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for sweeping operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

 

Davidson/Sumner County

Thursday January 14 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile operations on State Route 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) from MM 1 (I-65) to MM 10 (31E – Nashville Pike) in both directions for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders and inside lanes.

 

Giles County

Thursday January 14, 8AM-3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure and lane closure on I-65 northbound between MM 8.5 and MM 9.3 (between SR 273 exit and US 64/SR 15 exit) for the removal of large boulders. One lane will remain open northbound.

From now through Friday January 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
From now through Friday January 15, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Charlotte Pike in both directions, between 11th Ave and 12th Ave, in order for Metro Water Services to installing a 12’ water main.
From now through Friday January 22, 9AM -7PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 (Caldwell Lane) northbound in order to install a new water main.
From now through Tuesday January 19, 9AM-7PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 155 (Thompson Lane) westbound near 100 Oaks, from the intersection of Powell Ave to the CSX entrance, in order for Metro Water Services to install new water main.
From now through Friday January 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on 40th Ave and SR 24 (US 70/Charlotte Pike) in order for Metro Water Services to make a water tap.
Thursday January 7 through Wednesday January 20, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 24 (1st Ave.) from the Shelby Street Bridge to north of the Broadway and 1st Ave intersection for Crown Castle (AFG) fiber optic construction. Bus Shuttle Transportation will still be available.
Monday January 11 through Friday January 22, 9AM-3PM,  There will lane closures on SR 254 (Bell Road) between Old Hickory Blvd and Blue Hole Road for water main work.
Wednesday January 13 through Friday January 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closure on Charlotte Pike west bound near I-40 (MM 201) for utility work (water line).  Superior Traffic will conduct the lane closure with assistance from Metro Police.
Wednesday January 13 through Friday January 22 (Excluding weekends) 8PM-5AM,  There will be a lane closure on SR-24 (Charlotte Pike)  at the entrance to I-40 E  (Exit 201), For Metro Water to make a water service tie.
Wednesday January 20 through Friday January 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on US 431/SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) near the Knight Drive intersection Metro Water to connect a water service line into an existing water main.
Sunday January 17, 6AM-9AM, There will be a rolling road block at I-65 Exit 92 (Old Hickory Blvd) in both directions to place fiber optic cable on existing power poles.
Monday January 18 through Wednesday January 27 (Excluding Weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR-96 (Murfreesboro Road) at Fairfield Ave and Express Parkway Drive for Zayo to tie into ATT manholes.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through Friday January 29, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

 

Williamson County

Monday January 18 through Wednesday January 27 (Excluding weekends) 9AM-3PM, There will be a SR-6 (Franklin Road) lane closure at Concord Road for Zayo to locate existing utilities and bore for fiber optic cable.

 

Wilson County

Monday January 18 through Monday February 8, 9AM-3PM,There will be shoulder closures and possible lane closures on I-40 around exit 226 (Mt. Juliet) in order for  Middle Tn. Electric Membership Corp. to clear fence row for the installation of electric lines to service Under Armor Corp. Wilson County
