BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Harding Place Pedestrian Network from Nolensville Pike to I-24 (Local Programs Project/Metro Public Works)

Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Harding Place eastbound for placement of water line tie-in. Additionally, Recovery Road will be closed at the Harding Place intersection in order to perform intersection crossover work. Detours will be in place for Recovery Road.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

From now through December 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

From now through September 2015, 7AM-5PM, There will be a lane closure on 12th Avenue northbound, including the sidewalk and bike lane, to allow worker access to the median of I-40. 
From now through Friday September 25, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions at the Herman Street bridge for bridge work. One lane will remain open.

Saturday September 26 through Monday October 12, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Clinton Avenue and Charlotte Avenue, for bridge replacement prep, barrier wall operations, milling operations, and bridge work. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Pike

Friday September 25, 6AM-9PM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound near MM 88 in order to perform deck work. Two lanes will remain open.
Friday September 25, 9PM through Saturday September 26, 5PM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) onto I-65 South to relocate metal barrier wall and backfill concrete parapet.
Sunday September 27, 1PM-12AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound near MM 88 in order to move concrete barrier wall and prepare for traffic shift. One lane will remain open. Additionally, I-24 will be closed at the I-65 split (6PM-12AM) in order to restripe the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pole installation, electrical service work, fiber optic cabling installation, conduit installation/proving/repairs, and staging of overhead sign structures.

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Resurfacing of I-65 from the CSX Railroad to US 31W

Thursday September 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions, from MM 96 to MM 99, for paving operations and installation of pavement markings and snowplowable markers. At least one lane will remain open. Additionally, the northbound off-ramp at Rivergate Parkway (Exit 96), the northbound on-ramp at Long Hollow Pike, and the northbound off-ramp at Millersville (Exit 98) will be closed as needed for pavement repairs. Ramp traffic will detoured when ramps are closed.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 7AM-5PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 13 (Wilma Rudolph Blvd) from Fairview Lane to Fairbrook Place

Thursday September 24, 7AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 13 from just south of 101st Airborne Pkwy to just south of I-24 Exit 4 in order to pave, stripe, and install snowplowable markers.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound at MM 93.6 for trenching, boring and conduit installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 and SR 1 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction. Additionally, Broadmoor Boulevard will be closed to through traffic until further notice in order to perform utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Ramp Improvements at Interchange of I-24 East and Exit 81A (US 231/SR 10/Church Street)

Tuesday September 29 through Thursday October 1, 8PM-5AM.  There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 (Church Street) southbound in order to shift traffic alignment and place barrier rail. At least one lane will remain open.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of SR 268 (Compton Road) from US 231 (SR 10) to SR 96

Friday September 25 and Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 268 in both directions for placement of rumble strips and pavement markings. Traffic will be flagged in two-lane sections.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 96 from Veterans Pkwy to the Williamson County line

Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in both directions for guardrail and paving operations. Traffic will be flagged.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing of I-24 from East of SR 840 to Stones River Bridge

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-24 in both directions, between MM 74 to MM 79, to perform cleanup operations. All lanes will remain open.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70N (SR 24) from Profitt Street to Arnold Lane

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on US 70N (Lebanon Hwy) for de-grassing and paving operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 31E (SR 6) at SR 25

Sunday September 27 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be intersection lane closures for loop installation.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 from Jackson Road to East of Harper Road

Thursday September 24 through Saturday September 26, 6PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 in Portland for milling operations and installation of traffic loops.
Friday September 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 for milling and paving operations of repair areas.
Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 for paving operations.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Maury County line to North of SR 840  

Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions, from MM 53 to MM 61, for placing shoulder stone.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during construction operations as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 28 to MM 34, for bridge conduit installation.
Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 840 eastbound, from MM 28 to MM 35.5, for installation of conduit and poles.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Interchange Lighting at I-40 and SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road)  

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in both directions in order to install underground conduit, pull boxes, and pole foundations. All lanes will remain open.
Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions at Exit 226, including the on-ramps from Mt Juliet Road, in order to drill and install high mast pole foundations and install under-bridge lighting. At least one lane will remain open in each direction on the interstate and on-ramps.
Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM–6AM, The I-40 eastbound off-ramp to South Mt Juliet Road (Exit 226A) will be CLOSED in order to drill and install high mast pole foundations. Traffic will be diverted to Exit 226B (North Mt Juliet Road) or 226C (Belinda Pkwy). Additionally, there will be lane closures on the I-40 eastbound off-ramps to Exit 226B and 226C in order to install under-bridge lighting. At least one ramp lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 70 (SR 24) at Blair Lane

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8AM-5PM, There will be lane closures on US 70 (W Main Street) in both directions at the intersection of Blair Lane in Lebanon for signal installation work.

Davidson County

Thursday September 24, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound, between MM 80 (near I-440 interchange) and MM 82 (near I-40 split), for bridge inspection. Two lanes will remain open.
Thursday September 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 westbound, between MM 57 (Haywood Lane) and MM 59 (Bell Road), for milling and paving operations. Three lanes will remain open.

 

Macon County

Thursday September 24, 9AM-3PM, SR 56 (Carthage Road) will be closed near Milltown Lane in order to replace a cross drain. Detours will be in place.

 

Rutherford County

Monday September 28 through Wednesday September 30, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Epps Mill Rd over I-24 at Exit 89 (Buchanan Road) for the milling and paving operations. Traffic will be flagged.

 

Sumner County

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on SR 109 in both directions, from Belvedere Drive to the Sumner-Robertson County line, for striping operations.

 

Wilson County

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on I-40 in both directions, from the Davidson-Wilson County line to Exit 226 AND from MM 233 to MM 240, for striping operations
Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures on SR 109 in both directions, from I-40 to US 70 (SR 24), for striping operations.

From now through Friday October 30, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on the follow routes in order for Bechtel/Bear Construction to perform utility work.

Thursday September 24 through Thursday October 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures along SR 11 (Nolensville Pike) in the 2000 block in order for Metro Water Services to renew approximately 30 water service locations.

 

Montgomery County

From now through Wednesday September 30, 8AM-6PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 13, from McWhorter Road to east of Budds Creek Road in the Cunningham community, in order for Montgomery County Gas Authority to install 6” steel gas main.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through November 2015, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

City of Brentwood / Stansell Electric 

Thursday September 24 through Wednesday September 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Road), from South of Chadwick Drive to Executive Center Drive in Brentwood, to install signalization equipment.

 

City of Franklin / JS Haren Company 

Monday September 28 through Friday October 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 106 (Hillsboro Road), from south of Black Horse Pkwy to Poteat Place, for drilling and blasting work.
