BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

From now through December 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage, and Paving of I-40 West Exit Ramp at Church Street

Thursday October 29 and Friday October 30, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on the I-40 West Church Street ramp in order to install light poles. One lane will remain open.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-40 at Charlotte Avenue, Johnston Avenue, Clinton Street, and Herman Street

From now through Friday October 30, 8PM-6AM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on I-40 in both directions, between Clinton Avenue and Charlotte Avenue, for bridge replacement prep, barrier wall operations, milling operations, and bridge work. At least one lane will remain open.
Friday October 30, 8PM through Monday November 2, 6AM, All lanes of I-40 along the Nashville downtown loop will be closed, from the I-40/I-65 split west of downtown to the I-40/I-65 split south of downtown, for bridge repairs. Detours will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 100 from the Williamson County line to Temple Road

Thursday October 29 through Friday October 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 100 for resurfacing. Traffic will be flagged.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and utility relocation.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 237 (Rossview Road) over I-24 (Exit 8)

Saturday October 31, 8AM-6PM, There will be lane closures on SR 237 (Rossview Road) in order to shift traffic to the newly constructed roadway and bridges.

Look Ahead:

Friday November 6, 8PM through Monday November 9, 5AM, I-24 westbound at MM 8 AND SR 237 (Rossview Road) will be closed at the interchange for bridge demolition. Detours will be in place.

 

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, SmartWay ITS I-65 (North of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 in both directions, between MM 93.6 and MM 110, for pull box installation.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 and SR 1 for construction activities. One lane will remain open in each direction. Additionally, Broadmoor Boulevard will be closed to through traffic until further notice in order to perform utility crossings.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 from Jackson Road to East of Harper Road

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52 in Portland for pavement marking operations.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Misc Safety Improvements at Intersection of Saundersville Road and SR 386 Westbound Ramp

Thursday October 29 through Friday October 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Saundersville Road at the SR 386 westbound ramp intersection for milling, paving, and pavement marking operations.

 

TROUSDALE COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 260 over Little Goose Creek

Monday November 9 through July 2016, SR 260 will be closed at the bridge over Little Goose Creek (LM 5.58) for bridge repair work. Detours will be in place.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 100 (Fairview Blvd) from East of Deer Ridge Road to East of Planters Road

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be a lane closure on SR 100 for resurfacing. Traffic will be flagged.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 46 (Pinewood Road) from South of Moore Road to Green Chapel Road

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 46 for resurfacing. Traffic will be flagged.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures on Concord Road for construction operations. Traffic will be flagged as needed.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SmartWay ITS I-65 (South of Nashville) Expansion Project

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 840 in both directions, from MM 26 to MM 38, for bridge conduit and pull box installation.
Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound at the McEwen ramp (Exit 67) for conduit installation.
Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-65 northbound, between MM 76 (between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place) and MM 67 (near McEwen Drive), for conduit and pull box installation.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Signals on US 70 (SR 24) at Blair Lane

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 8AM-5PM, There will be lane closures on US 70 (W Main Street) in both directions at the intersection of Blair Lane in Lebanon for signal installation work.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24) from East of Park Glen Drive to SR 109

Thursday October 29 through Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on US 70 (Lebanon Road) between Mt Juliet and Lebanon for paving operations.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 265 (Central Pike) from SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road) to SR 109

Thursday October 29 through Friday October 30, 7AM-5PM (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on Central Pike between Mt Juliet and Lebanon for pavement marking operations.

Davidson County

Thursday October 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on the ramp from I-24 westbound (MM 52.5) to I-440 westbound (MM 7.6) for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

Davidson County

Monday November 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-440 eastbound past the Belmont Blvd overpass/bridge (between MM 3 and MM 5) in order to excavate the median. 

 

Cheatham-Dickson-Hickman Counties

Monday November 2 through Wednesday November 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be moving lane closures on I-40 in both directions, from the Humphreys-Hickman County line (MM 148) to the Cheatham-Davidson County line (MM 190), for TDOT acceptance testing. All work is weather dependent.

 

Humphreys County

Thursday October 29, 7PM-12AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 139 for milling operations.  Troopers will be utilized.  
Wednesday November 4, 7PM-2AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound at MM 141.3 for bridge repair operations over the Buffalo River. Troopers will be utilized.

 

Rutherford County

Tuesday November 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 westbound near SR 840 (MM 74.6) for bridge repair. One lane will remain open.

 

Sumner County

Thursday October 29, 8PM-6AM, SR 25 will be closed near SR 76 (Portland White House Road) for cross-drain replacement.  Detours will be in place.   
Monday November 2 through Tuesday November 3, 8AM-3:30PM, SR 259 will be closed between Woods Road and Blue Door Road in the City of Mitchellville for CSX Railroad repair.  Detours will be in place.

From now through Friday November 20, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on the follow routes in order for Bechtel/Bear Construction to perform utility work.

  • SR 31 (8th Ave South) westbound, between Edgehill Ave and Wedgewood Ave

  • SR 1 (Lafayette Street) northbound, between Fairfield Ave and 2nd Ave S

From now through Sunday November 15, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Charlotte Pike in both directions, between 11th Ave and 12th Ave, in order for Metro Water Services to installing a 12’ water main.
From now through Friday November 13, 8PM–5AM, There will be lane closures along SR 11 (Nolensville Pike) in the 2000 block in order for Metro Water Services to renew approximately 30 water service locations.
From now through Friday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) eastbound, between 22nd Street and 26th Street in the City of Lakewood, in order for Metro Water Services to line a sewer main.
From now through Friday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Pike) eastbound, from Pine Ridge Drive to Hart Lane, in order for Metro Water Services to install 8” water main.
Monday November 2 through Monday November 23,  8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 1 (Broadway) at 17th Avenue in order for Metro Water Services to tie-in to existing water and sewer mains with a new 8” main and fire hydrant assembly.
Wednesday November 4 through Friday November 13, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 24 (US 70/Charlotte Avenue) eastbound, between the railroad crossing and 40th Avenue N in order for Metro Water Services to tie-in to an existing water main.
Sunday November 8, 6AM-9AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 in both directions at Exit 90 (Dickerson Pk/Briley Pkwy) in order for XO Communications to hang lines. Metro officers will be utilized.

 

Montgomery and Robertson Counties

From now through November 2015, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends), There will be lane closures on SR 76 eastbound, between Port Royal Road and Harmony Church Road in the city of Adams, in order for Cumberland Electric Membership Corp to place aerial cable at several locations.

 

Rutherford County

Sunday November 1, 6AM-11AM, There will be intermittent lane closures on SR 1 (US 70/Mercury Blvd/John Bragg Hwy), between South Rutherford Blvd and Double Springs Road, in order for TVA to perform line maintenance work.
Wednesday November 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures on SR 99 (Bradyville Pike) near Oak Knoll Court in order for TVA to perform line maintenance work.
