NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced he will deliver his sixth State of the State address to the General Assembly and fellow Tennesseans on Monday, February 5 at 6 p.m. CST. The joint session will take place in the House Chamber of the Tennessee State Capitol.

Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration Commissioner Jim Bryson announced today that revenues for December were lower than expected and were less than the monthly revenues from the previous year. State revenues for December were $1.9 billion or $82.5 million less than the budgeted estimate declining 1.60 percent.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 12.50 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 8.50 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on January 16, 2024.
