The Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Chattanooga/Red Bank Driver Services Center located at 4873 Dayton Blvd., will close for a planned remodel on Monday, March 2, 2026.

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Dickson Driver Services Center, 114 West Christi Drive, which closed for a planned remodel on July 16, 2025, will reopen on Monday, Feb. 23, 2026.

The Department of Safety and Homeland Security’s Jasper Driver Services Center, 4950 Main Street, Building D, which closed for a planned remodel on May 14, 2025, will reopen on Monday, Feb. 9, 2026.

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security is updating older Commercial Driver License records to comply with current federal and state requirements. Approximately 8,800 of Tennessee’s 150,000 CDL holders will receive a notice by mail requesting citizenship or lawful presence documentation that were not required when their licenses were originally issued.
