The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has welcomed XSYS of Morristown as the newest member of the Tennessee Green Star Partnership.

NASHVILLE--Commissioner of Financial Institutions Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 11.00 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 7.00 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on November 24, 2025.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nearly 50 Guardsmen with Dyersburg’s 168th Military Police Battalion recently completed a year-long deployment to the U.S. Southern Border and all Soldiers had returned home to Tennessee by Monday, November 24.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thanksgiving travelers will not be delayed by construction on Tennessee roads during this holiday. TDOT will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state highways in anticipation of higher traffic volumes across the state. All construction-related lane closures will be suspended beginning at noon on Wednesday, November 26, and will remain in effect through 6:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Nashville, TN— Today, the Tennessee Department of Education announced state school and district designations for the 2024-25 school year, including Reward schools, Exemplary districts, and In Need of Improvement districts. These designations are based on various performance indicators, including student achievement and growth.

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) is now accepting orders for its annual collectible state waterfowl stamp, featuring the award-winning artwork from the 2025 Tennessee Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest. This year’s stamp showcases a great piece created by 16-year-old Glory Malone of Dover, whose talent earned her the Best of Show honor in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service competition. Proceeds from stamp sales support habitat improvement efforts across the state.
