I was going to shrug it off at first, but I am more than glad and beyond blessed that I didn't. I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and caring team to guide me and encourage me through my pregnancy into the first few years of my daughter's life. They became like a second family to me. This program is truly involved in making sure each family has the resources they need to build a healthy and happy family. I highly recommend this program...for new parents...for single moms and dads, and all families.

- I been with the PAT program for almost 2 years with and I would like to share my experience. My daughter is 18 months, and my son is 5 years. We have fun during our home visit with our Parent Educator. She’s so helpful and professional. She teaches us how to be patient and the importance of having family time and getting our goals done. My son has learned the alphabet and how to write he’s full name as well as how to cut paper and how to share with his sister. My daughter is learning how to react to new things. She’s also leaning shapes and their names and a lot of more fun and great things. These are just a few things that I can think of now. I’m so glad that I have been part of this great community of great and professional people. I hope more parents get to know the great benefits of PAT.
- Becoming a part of the Parents as Teachers program is one of the best decisions I have made since having my son! I love how you get to build a one-on-one relationship with a teacher that focuses on your child's development and milestones. Our parent educator has been with us every step of the way teaching my son and I how to communicate, learn fun educational activities that go hand in hand based on his age, and provides information for me on how to not only help him blossom but to help me appreciate myself as a parent. I also really enjoy how Parents as Teachers has get-togethers with other families in the program, such as outdoor activities and story time. I don't believe we'd be where we are without them!
