Nicholas Ransom

Wrapping up DIDD’s #IAmASDinTN campaign to celebrate Autism Month is Nicholas Ransom!

Nick is 22 and is a student at East Tennessee State University in the Access ETSU program. He says he became a student in that program because he wanted to learn, study, and enjoys going outside. He’s taking art, journalism photography, music, and recording studio classes this semester. He’s loving it so far! Currently, Nick is working at the East Tennessean newspaper as a photographer, and he dreams of becoming a photographer at a magazine. Outside of school, his favorite things are enjoying cookies and pizza, going to school, taking vacations, and spending time with family.

When we asked Nick what he would like to say to people with Autism, he said for “people to be nice and love.”
