Emelyne Bingham

Once Emelyne Bingham was able to put skates onto the ice rink – she was hooked!

Her love for hockey began as a Nashville Predators fan and got her through one of the toughest times in her life. Now, it’s what she loves to do for herself every week that makes her feel empowered after overcoming major health setbacks. Emelyne is a Principal Senior Lecturer of Music Theory and Cognition at Vanderbilt University Blair School of Music and a Research Member of Vanderbilt Kennedy Center. She’s also the Chair of TN’s Council on Autism Spectrum Disorder. She's carved a space out for herself in this world in more ways than one and now she’s encouraging other Tennesseans with autism to do the same!
