Probation Parole Officer

TDOC supervises 75,000 offenders on probation, parole, or community corrections. Community Supervision is structured into 14 districts, organized across three geographic regions, and provides supervision and services in all 95 counties throughout the state of Tennessee. This statewide structure ensures consistent delivery of supervision practices and resources, while allowing for regional flexibility to address local needs and challenges.

Community Supervision is looking for probation parole officers (PPOs) who want to make a difference in the lives of those supervised by the department while ensuring public safety. As a newly hired probation parole officer (PPO), you will receive a competitive annual salary in the range of $48,204 - $60,336 depending on experience and education. Your salary will continue to increase through pay-for-performance and promotional opportunities as you grow with the department.
