Academic Transcripts

The Division of Postsecondary State Authorization (DPSA) maintains student transcripts from previously authorized postsecondary institutions that have closed. DPSA does not maintain or distribute transcript(s) from high schools, the GED test, or the HiSET test.

Please note that the transcript files received from the institutions are sometimes incomplete. As such, failure to locate an academic record from a closed institution does not necessarily invalidate the student’s claim of attendance or the completion of a course(s) or program of study. Unfortunately, the Commission only administers and maintains the records as provided by the closed institution and will not amend any academic records. If the Commission does not have a requested record, a letter will be sent indicating that the Commission does not have a transcript on file.

For questions, call (615) 741-5293.
