Nashville- Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III and a bipartisan coalition of twenty-four State Attorneys General today submitted a comment letter to the Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”) asking the agency to strengthen its rules prohibiting websites, mobile applications, and other digital marketing companies from collecting personal information from children under the age of 13 and using that information to track children across the internet.

Nashville- Attorney General Herbert H. Slatery III has joined a bipartisan coalition of attorneys general opposing an attempt to prevent the Minnesota Attorney General from obtaining restitution for consumers.

Nashville- Effective Monday, September 30th, the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs (DCA) will transfer from the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) to the Office of the Attorney General (AG).
