Pigeon Forge Transit Technology Project

Pigeon Forge Mass Transit received an IMPROVE Act Transit Investment Grant for new transit technology that allows for real-time arrival information at the transit center, electronic fareboxes and mobile payments, an app with real-time vehicle tracking, and automatic passenger counters for ridership tracking. Pigeon Forge Mass Transit provides over 3 million trips annually and the upgraded technology helps to streamline and improve the customer experience.
