Morristown SkyMart Venture Place

Colorful historic storefronts line a downtown street with balconies, flags, and parked cars.

In 2016, the Crossroads Downtown Partnership (CDP) in Morristown was awareded a TNECD Main Street Entrepreneur grant to establish the SkyMart Venture Place, an entrepreneur center and co-working space. To jumpstart center activities, business owners and entrepreneurs throughout the region were invited to apply for Co.Starters business startup training and ETSY classes offered through the Knoxville Entrepreneur Center. The project served 40 participants in its first year, and 20 businesses were started or expanded.
