Livingston Central Park Downtown Revitalization

In 2017, using local and state funding, the City of Livingston constructed and opened Central Park. Visitors can enjoy a state-of-the-art amphitheater, relaxing walking trail, large picnic shelter, water bottle filling station, guitar-shaped splash pad to reflect Overton County's "Home of Americana Music" brand, and a variety of colorful, all-inclusive play equipment. The community added streetscape improvements to connect the square and Central Park, and the park now brings more people to downtown Livingston to shop, eat, and play.
