Lake County Industrial Park - Sinova Silicon

The Lake County Industrial Park received two TNECD Site Development grants in 2016 and 2018. The funding was used to supply sewer line extensions and build a water tank that increases the available water supply and provides fire protection. As a result of these improvements, the site was designated a Select Tennessee Certified Site.

In 2021, Sinova Global announced plans to locate a new factory at the Lake County Industrial Park. This new facility will refine high-quality quartz into components used to manufacture. silicon anode batteries, solar panels and semiconductor components. Sinova's project will bring over $150 million and 140 jobs to Lake County. Utility extensions and capacity improvements were key to landing a client in this rural industrial park.
