East Tennessee Human Resource Agency Public Transit Services

The East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA) receives an annual allocation of funding from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Non-Urbanized Area Formula Program for public transportation in rural areas with a population under 50,000. During the state’s 2021 fiscal year, ETHRA used the annual funding to support transit operations in 16 counties, including driver salaries, fuel and maintenance expenses, and the operation of a job access program.
Counties Served: Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Knox, Loudon, Monroe, Morgan, Roane, Scott, Sevier, & Union Counties
