City of Etowah New Swimming Pool Construction

An outdoor swimming pool is filled with water and surrounded by a deck and seating.

The City of Etowah built a new community swimming pool at their City Park by leveraging an anonymous gift and city funds with matching funds from the Local Parks and Recreation Fund (LPRF) Grant. As the community’s old pool had been closed for over a decade, the project was highly anticipated and only required minimal funding from the city. The new pool, which officially opened in 2021, now serves the citizens of Etowah with swim lessons, leagues, city-wide events, and open swim times.
