NASHVILLE– Following Veterans Day, the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) announced a partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to expand affordable, quality child care options for active-duty military members in Tennessee. This collaboration, facilitated by TDHS’s relationship with the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Campbell military base, is set to benefit military-affiliated families across the state.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 11.90 percent per annum. The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 7.90 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on November 12, 2024.
