The Douglas Henry State Museum Commission quarterly meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 10 a.m. EASTERN TIME at Rocky Mount State Historic Site in Piney Flats, TN. Agenda to be posted here prior to meeting. DHSMC Quarterly Meetings are traditionally held the Second Monday of the First Month of each Quarter, unless otherwise indicated. All Scheduled Meetings of the DHSMC are open to the public and posted on the State of Tennessee's State Museum Public Meetings Calendar.

Tennessee Commission for the United States Semiquincentennial was created to plan, encourage, develop, and coordinate the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States, and recognize Tennessee's integral role in that event and the impact of its people on the nation's past, present, and future. This public meeting will include members of the governing body who are participating. Individuals wishing to make public comment should either contact Nieya Wallace at nieya.wallace@tn.gov prior to the meeting or if you participate in the meeting by electronic means, you will be given an opportunity to speak at the conclusion of the meeting’s business. During that time, you will be asked to provide your name. All comments will be limited to 5 minutes.
