Tennessee Historic Cemetery Advisory Committee

In accordance with TCA 4-11-106, Commission – Advisory Boards or Committees, the Historic Cemetery Advisory Committee is responsible for posting a five-year Cemetery Report. The Cemetery Report aims to study, identify and make relevant recommendations for legislative action. The first report was published in 2020.

The Historic Cemetery Advisory Committee is comprised of Loni Harris (THC Board Member), Phil Hodge (THC Ex Officio Board Member and State Archaeologist), Jimmy Rout (Shelby County Historian), Dr. Beverly Bond (African American historian at The University of Memphis, Shelby County), Linda Moss Mines (Hamilton County Historian), Fletch Coke (Davidson County Historic Preservation specialist).
