Another exciting History Happy Hour event is coming up this Thursday May 15 at 6:30 p.m. with our guest speaker David Sherrill Oaks. This free program is open to the public and will occur in the Board Room Annex building behind the Chester Inn State Historic Site & Museum at 116 West Main Street Jonesborough, TN. To enter the annex, go around the Chester Inn to the right, pass the storytelling patio and head up the stairs to the outbuilding behind the Chester Inn. Our speaker’s talk will focus on his book Force in the Mountains and will highlight Bonnie Kate, wife of John Sevier and all-around wonder woman. This hour-long program will feature an engaging lecture as well as a question-and-answer segment. Come ready to learn and enjoy another History Happy Hour segment in our 2025 series!
