Another exciting History Happy Hour event is coming up this Thursday April 17 at 6:30 p.m. with our guest speaker Dr. Warren Dockter, president and CEO of the East Tennessee Historical Society. This free program is open to the public and will occur in the Board Room Annex building behind the Chester Inn State Historic Site and Museum at 116 West Main Street Jonesborough, TN. Our speaker’s talk titled, “Intelligence and the Battle of Kings Mountain,” will focus on military intelligence operations leading up to the Battle of Kings Mountain in 1780, a pivotal victory our young nation during the American Revolution. This hour-long program will feature an engaging lecture as well as a question-and-answer segment. Come ready to learn and enjoy another History Happy Hour segment in our 2025 series!
