Travel through time and across continents as we explore how Christmas traditions developed in Central Europe, Scandinavia, the United States, and the Caribbean as told through the festive drinks that defined each region. From spiced European Christmas beer, to Scandinavian glögg, American holiday punches, and Caribbean rum-infused celebrations, this program uncovers the global history of Christmas by raising a glass to the flavors that shaped it.
