About this event
The third annual William Edmondson Arts & Culture Festival (WE Fest), an art, craft, and music fair returns this month. Packed with free, family-friendly activities to celebrate Nashville’s famous African American artist, WE Fest is fast-becoming become a “must-attend” event during Nashville’s annual “Artober” celebration.
The Friends of the William Edmondson Homesite Park & Gardens are pleased to host the William Edmondson Arts & Culture Festival ("WE Fest") on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm CDT. The event will take place at the William Edmondson Homesite park, gardens and historic site (1450 14th Ave. S. Nashville).
WE Fest honors Nashville’s groundbreaking sculptor William Edmondson, celebrates Nashville’s diverse arts community, and shares the Edgehill community’s rich African American history & culture. The festival is held on the anniversary week of William’s barrier-shattering 1937 solo show at the Museum of Modern Art.
