MEDIA ADVISORY: COPA Local Advisory Council Public Hearing to be Held January 7, 2020

NASHVILLE – The Certificate of Public Advantage Local Advisory Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 7 in compliance with the Terms of Certification of the COPA that include a formal process for the public to comment on Ballad Health System’s Annual Report. The hearing will be held from 5:30 – 7 p.m. EST in the Northeast State Community College Center for the Arts located at 2425 Highway 75 in Blountville.

The FY19 Ballad Health Annual Report can be accessed online at www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/health/documents/copa/FY19-Annual-Report.pdf. An executive summary of the annual report can be accessed online at www.tn.gov/content/dam/tn/health/documents/copa/Executive-Summary-of-Annual-ReportFY19-Ballad-Health.pdf.

Those who wish to provide comments on Ballad Health’s Annual Report and the COPA may sign in upon entering the center’s auditorium and will speak in order of signing. Each person will be given three minutes to deliver remarks. A court reporter will record the hearing. Participants may also bring written comments.
