Local Health Departments

Environmental Health Specialists work in all of the local Health Departments. If you would like to speak with the local Health Department EHS, please refer to the directory information below.

“Contract Counties” are responsible for inspections, Invoicing, Permitting, and Enforcement at the local level. Questions pertaining to establishments in Davidson, Hamilton, Knox, Madison, or Shelby Counties should be directed to the local county health department.
