How has COVID-19 impacted your personal and/or professional life?
COVID-19 has impacted how I interact with my family and friends. I have to be mindful of who I encounter for the sake of my mother. My work life has been inconsistent due to the daily case count.

Have you received the COVID-19 vaccine? If so, what and/or who was your inspiration or reason for receiving it?
Yes I am fully vaccinated due to traveling with my mother

How has COVID-19 impacted your personal and/or professional life?

My daughter is bi-racial and a teenager. I think her fear of germs and getting sick has heighten since COVID-19 hit. She just came off self-quarantine from school due to COVID-19 exposure-she stayed isolated in her room for two weeks. I feel like she’s less social able since COVID-19 hit, more withdrawn. I’m looking into counseling for her, but it’s hard for me to find a counselor of color or even someone who accepts her insurance.

Have you received the COVID-19 vaccine? If so, what and/or who was your inspiration or reason for receiving it?

She has not, she’s only 14.

How has COVID-19 impacted your personal and/or professional life?

COVID-19 has impacted my life in many ways. I have an increased understanding of how fragile life is. Professionally, the pandemic has opened the opportunity to engage and help my community by giving them hope in different areas of their life emotionally, physically and mentally.

Have you received the COVID-19 vaccine? If so, what and/or who was your inspiration or reason for receiving it?

I received the vaccine through Skyline Medical Center where I have worked as Chaplin for 12 and half years.
I've provided spiritual support to families and patients, they inspired me to continue to engage with our community and fellow citizens that feared the deadly COVID-19 virus. I was able to reach out to them to educate and provide spiritual support.
