Waterborne Outbreak Resources
A waterborne outbreak is a cluster of two or more illnesses linked to the same water exposure and caused by the same agent(s). Outbreaks can be caused by water contaminated with pathogens, chemicals, or toxins and can be spread through ingestion of, contact with, or breathing in contaminated water.
TDH has compiled a list of outbreak resources and developed a series of videos to assist with the investigation of waterborne outbreaks.
