State Parking Lot Usage
State of Tennessee parking lots are available for public use Monday through Friday after 5:30 p.m., and on weekends, unless otherwise stated or reserved. Terms and conditions of use may vary depending on the specific lot requested.
How to Request Use of a State Parking Lot
To request the use of a State parking lot for an event or activity, select the button below to submit a request form. To allow for proper review and processing, all requests must be received no later than ten (10) business days prior to the event start date. Please note that "business days" do not include State holidays.
Requests that do not meet this 10-business-day notice requirement may be delayed or denied.
The following is required when requesting the use of a State parking lot:
Certificate of Insurance (COI): Requestor agrees to obtain the single limit public liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.00 covering bodily injury, including death, and property damage. A copy of the COI may be provided in advance by attachment to the online request form, but shall be provided to the State no later than the time of execution of the agreement.
- The procuring of insurance is for the Requestor's protection and shall not limit the amount of damages, which the State may be legally entitled to pursue.
- The COI amount may be modified at the discretion of the State.
- The COI must name the State as an Additional Insured on the policy: Additional Insured: State of Tennessee Department of General Services, 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave., William R. Snodgrass Tennessee Tower, 22nd Floor, Nashville, TN 37243
