Tennessee Department of General Services Named a Top Workplace in Middle Tennessee
NASHVILLE, TN – The Department of General Services for the State of Tennessee has been awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor by The Tennessean Top Workplaces. The announcement was made during the award ceremony held on Tuesday, June 21, 2023, at the Music City Center.
The list of Top Workplaces is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures fifteen culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
“This award is an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication I see from our employees,” said Christi Branscom, Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of General Services. “This makes the fourth year in a row we’ve received this honor. I am so proud of the work we do, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such a talented and dedicated team. Their commitment to excellence is evident in everything they do to serve the State of Tennessee and its citizens, and it is what makes our organization such a great place to work.”
