Overnight Fire Reported at MLTC

Memphis, Tenn. - An overnight fire at the Mark Luttrell Transition Center (MLTC) was successfully contained by local firefighters. No staff members or inmates were injured, and all individuals have been safely accounted for. As a precaution, inmates housed at MLTC have been temporarily relocated to other Tennessee Department of Correction facilities while the situation is assessed. The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time and is under investigation.
