Tennessee Attorney General’s Office Announces National Claims Portal for Customers of Wall & Associates
NASHVILLE— The Office of the Tennessee Attorney General has announced the opening of a nationwide claims process and portal for customers of the tax debt settlement company, Wall & Associates, Inc., to submit claims to be considered for restitution.
Over the years, Wall & Associates has been the subject of many consumer complaints nationwide. After a 2024 trial in a lawsuit brought by Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares, the Fauquier County Circuit Court found that Wall & Associates, Inc. misrepresented the expertise of its salespeople as “tax consultants,” misrepresented the average results or savings for people using its services, and misrepresented the geographic area where services would be performed.
The Court has ordered Wall & Associates (which was formerly known as E. Kenneth Wall & Associates, Inc., and has sometimes done business as Mayfair Tax Help & Relief, Inc., Mayfair Tax Help, Inc., and Mayfair Tax, Inc.) to pay restitution to qualified customers who register their claims with Verus, LLC, the claims administrator for this case.
Over the years, Wall & Associates has collected more than a million dollars from hundreds of Tennessee consumers, and affected Tennessee consumers may be eligible for restitution under the court’s order.
“I strongly encourage Tennesseans who were defrauded by Wall and Associates’ deceptive practices to file their claim before the December 10 deadline,” said Attorney General Jonathan Skrmetti. “Many thanks to Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares and his team for their excellent work litigating this case, and I’m proud Tennessee could support this important effort.”
If you were a customer of Wall & Associates, Inc., you must register your claims with Verus by no later than December 10, 2025, to be eligible for restitution in this case.
You can register your claim at www.WallConsumerClass.com. Customers also may contact Verus by phone at 609-283-5393, by e-mail at WallConsumerClass@VerusLLC.com, or by mail at P.O. Box 6535, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Please Note: The Fauquier County Circuit Court in Virginia will determine who will qualify for a restitution payment and what amount should be paid. Only those who register their claim will be considered for a restitution payment.
