Lane Closure Report: September 6 - September 12, 2026

Please see the linked spreadsheet outlining lane closures due to scheduled construction and maintenance activities in the Middle Tennessee area planned for May 24 – May 30, 2026.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will halt all lane closure activity on interstates and state routes for the Labor Day holiday travel period. Construction crews will stop all lane-closure activities at noon on Friday, September 4, and resume at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 8.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and obey reduced speed limits in all TDOT work zones, regardless of lane closure activity. Information in this report is provided to the Department of Transportation by the contractors. Most work is weather dependent and subject to change due to inclement weather.
