Memphis, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) announces that Gragg Road will close to through traffic beginning Tuesday, March 3, for approximately six months as part of SR 14 roadway improvements.

The closure is necessary to allow crews to complete construction activities in the northbound lanes from Kerrville-Rosemark Road to Mudville Road. During the closure, traffic will detour via Kerrville-Rosemark Road. Residents on Gragg Road will continue to have local access to their properties throughout the closure.

As always, drivers are reminded to slow down and move over when traveling through a work zone. The Move Over Law was passed in 2006. The penalty for violating the law in Tennessee carries the possibility of up to 30 days in jail and a maximum fine of up to $500.
