Paving Activity Prompts Lane Closure on SR 66 in Sevier County
Motorists traveling on State Route 66 in Sevier County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 8, there will be temporary lane closures on State Route 66 between Nichols Drive and Chapman Highway (US 441) as crews perform milling and paving operations in this area. These lane closures will remain in place until no later than 3 p.m., when resurfacing activities are complete.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
