Resurfacing Prompts Overnight Lane Closures on I-275 in Knox County

Motorists traveling on I-275 in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.

On Monday, August 18, there will be intermittent lane closures for resurfacing on I-275 North and South at the bridge over Elm Street and Bernard Avenue. These closures will take place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
