Overnight Paving Prompts I-275 Lane Closures in Knox County

Motorists traveling on I-275 in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.

Beginning at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, there will be intermittent lane closures on I-275 North and South at the bridge over Elm Street and Bernard Avenue as crews work on the pavement at the bridge ends. The closures will remain in place nightly until 6 a.m. on Friday, August 1.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
