Railroad Work Prompts Closure on SR 58 in Hamilton County

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Drivers traveling along SR 58 (Alton Park Boulevard) should be aware of an upcoming railroad activities that will temporarily impact traffic. Beginning Monday, July 28, 2025, and continuing for 10 days, Norfolk Southern will close Alton Park Boulevard near 31st Street to perform maintenance activities to a nearby railroad crossing.

Drivers are encouraged to remain alert and avoid the area if at all possible. This work is weather-dependent and may be rescheduled in case of inclement weather or other unforeseen conditions.
