Bridge Work Prompts Traffic Shifts on SR 9/US 25 W in Jefferson County

Motorists traveling on State Route 9 (US 25W) in Jefferson
County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have
a temporary impact on traffic.

Beginning at 6 a.m., July 16, State Route 9 (US 25W) will be reduced to one lane while the contractor shifts traffic onto the new bridge over Rimmer Creek. Flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone.

 This traffic shift will be complete by 10 p.m. on July 16.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
