ANDERSON COUNTY, I-75 North near Mile Marker 127.6: On Thursday, June 19, 2025, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform guardrail repairs.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, slow or stopped traffic, and use extreme caution through this area.

ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 61 between Bill Key Lane and Old Batley Road: Motorists should be alert for possible daily lane closures during daylight hours through this construction project. ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 170 Edgemoor Road between Melton Lake Drive and Old Emory Road: On Saturday, June 28, 2025, motorists should be alert for construction activities that will result in temporary traffic impacts.  Beginning at 6 a.m., SR 170 will be temporarily closed to thru traffic between Melton Lake Drive and Old Emory Road as TVA performs construction activities at Bull Run Fossil Plant.  The estimated duration of this temporary closure is 30 minutes.  This temporary closure will be repeated around midday.  This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions.  Motorists are advised to expect delays, seek alternate routes, and use extreme caution in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129/ SR 115 Tail of the Dragon: Due to the recent closure of Interstate 40 near the Tennessee and North Carolina State Line, this is a reminder for commercial vehicles in Tennessee and North Carolina attempting to use this roadway to bypass areas affected by recent flooding. No trucks with trailers over 30 feet in length, or single units over 30 feet in length are permitted on US 129 “The Dragon” in Tennessee or North Carolina. Thru truck traffic in Tennessee should take I-81 North to Virginia and then take I-77 South into North Carolina. These restrictions of US 129 will be strictly enforced day and night.

BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 162 Pellissippi Parkway between Cusick Road and SR 33: SR 162 is reduced from two lanes to one through this project as construction crews perform bridge work in this area.  Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily, as needed, for blasting operations. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, workers present and use extreme caution through this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 321 between Long Branch Road and Stables Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning through this resurfacing project. CARTER COUNTY, SR 37 between Log Miles 1.4 and 1.6: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this slope stabilization project. CLAIBORNE COUNTY, SR 63 between Campbell County Line and Hall Lane: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. through this construction project. COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East between Mile Marker 447 and North Carolina State Line: I-40 East is closed at Mile Marker 447 in Tennessee due to recent flash flooding on June 18, 2025, which caused a slide at Mile Marker 451.  I-40 “Thru Traffic” should follow I-81 North to I-26 East or I-77 South.  This full closure is estimated to be in effect for approximately two weeks. COCKE COUNTY, I-40 West between Mile Marker 7 in North Carolina and Mile Marker 447 in Tennessee: I-40 West is closed at Mile Marker 7 in North Carolina due to recent flash flooding on June 18, 2025, which caused a slide in Tennessee at Mile Marker 451.  I-40 “Thru Traffic” in North Carolina should follow I-26 West or I-77 North to I-81 South.  This full closure is estimated to be in effect for approximately two weeks. COCKE COUNTY, US 25/70 between Tennessee State Line and Hot Springs, North Carolina: Thru truck traffic is prohibited on US 25/70 in North Carolina between the Tennessee State Line and Hot Springs, North Carolina.  Truck traffic to North Carolina should follow I-81 North to I-26 East or I-77 South.  Traffic wider than 10 feet is prohibited on I-26 between Mile Markers 37 and 40.
