Construction Activity Prompts Ramp Closures on I-275 N in Knox County

Motorists traveling on I-40 and I-275 North in Knox County should be aware of upcoming road construction activities that will have a temporary impact on traffic.

Beginning on Wednesday evening, June 11, several ramps to I-275 North in Knox County will be intermittently closed for short periods.

Those ramps are:

I-40 East to I-275 North (Exit 387A)
Henley Street to I-275 North
I-40 West to I-275 North (Exit 387A)

These ramp closures will be in place between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through Thursday, June 12.

This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
