I-55 Bridge Naming Event
MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will host a special event to officially unveil the new name for the I-55 Bridge over the Mississippi River: Kings’ Crossing.
This new name, adopted by the Tennessee General Assembly and the Arkansas Highway Commission, honors three transformative figures known as "Kings": B.B. King; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.; and Elvis Presley.
Join TDOT, ARDOT, and special guests to commemorate this milestone and learn more about the future of the I-55 Bridge replacement project— the single largest transportation investment in Tennessee history.
