Environmental Clean Up Prompts Lane Closure on I-24 in Grundy County
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. –Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will clean up a fuel spill caused by a recent crash on I-24 West in Grundy County. The right lane at mile marker 132 will be closed on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 1:00 AM CST.
To reduce traffic impacts and increase safety for the crew, work will take place overnight. Motorists should expect delays and use caution in the area. This schedule is weather-dependent and may change due to unforeseen conditions.
