Bridge Repair Prompts Lane Closures on I-40 at MM 363 in Loudon County
Motorists traveling on I-40 in Loudon County should be aware of upcoming bridge repair activities that will have an impact on traffic.
Beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 17, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in each direction at MM 363 in Loudon County to allow for repairs to the bridge that spans over Paw Paw Plains Road. This bridge repair work is taking place approximately one mile from Exit 364 (Lenoir City/US 321).
These lane closures will be in place 24/7 until no later than 6 a.m. on Monday, October 20. This is the third and final weekend of bridge repair work in this area.
This schedule is contingent on favorable weather conditions. Motorists are advised to expect delays and use extreme caution in this area as workers will be present.
