Plan of Action
If a facility is unable to meet all minimum standards during the annual inspection cycle, facility administration may request to be placed on a Plan of Action (POA). The POA allows a facility to maintain a certified status after failing to meet all minimum standards while demonstrating to the Board of Control that the facility is making measurable progress rectifying deficiencies found during inspection. A POA can be applied for by submitting an application for TCI's Board of Control to approve. To obtain additional information on a POA, please email TCI.BOC@tn.gov.
