Tennessee revenues exceeded budgeted estimates for the month of September.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Today, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee announced two additional resources to support local law enforcement agencies in officer recruitment and training, following the recent launch of the $100 million Violent Crime Intervention Fund and continued Proven Crime Prevention investments.

TDMHSAS is receiving new grant funding to continue a mental health program for youth and young adults in Shelby County. A $400,000 federal grant through SAMHSA will allow the department to continue the Clinical High Risk for Psychosis (CHR-P) program in Memphis.

JOHNSON CITY – The Tennessee Department of Correction (TDOC) is hosting a ‘One-Stop Re-Entry Shop’ for justice-involved individuals on October 10 in Johnson City.

Knoxville, Tenn. - The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to today’s guilty plea by Lance Alexander Cunningham. Judge Steven W. Sword accepted Cunningham’s guilty plea to one count of tax evasion resulting from underreporting the purchase price of a boat he registered with the Knox County Clerk’s Office in 2016. Cunningham was placed on one-year unsupervised probation and ordered to pay restitution to the State.
